These general elections are very important for the people of India, considering the grim economic situation and shaky internal & national security. Everybody should vote this time around.
P. P. Bapu has made the following observation in the book The Third World War -- "For the last few years, no single party has been able to form the government at the centre. The BJP and later the Congress, both have had to take support of small regional parties and groups to form the government. Under the circumstances, the chief party in power has to do a tight rope walk. Neither is a decision quick not is it firm. If this situation prevails, India will not be able to utilize its strength effectively, neither in the preliminary stages nor during the actual period of the war. And since this obviously spells danger for India, be it the Congress or the BJP, the government at the centre has to be formed by one single political party."
